The weather has been brilliant here in sunny Essex this week and the children have enjoyed exploring the outside and everything the garden has to offer. This week our garden has been a focus for the activities going on indoors and outside. One which was a real hit was design and making our ow flowers.
We covered the centre of our flowers with glue and then used a variety of tissue paper to decorate. The younger children enjoyed laying the tissue paper whereas the older children enjoyed screwing it up and creating patterns and pictures.
We then turned the card circle over and put a ring of glue around the edge. The children all picked their coloured petals and placed them on top of the glue.
The finished products were four beautiful flowers!
Very cute and so happy!
