Opening our eyes to the world of Hama Beads

Lady P has always been a fan of arts and crafts. Every birthday and Christmas you can be sure that she will have her cupboard replenished with supplies. We were recently offered to try out Hama Beads, I had never heard of them before believe it or not and finding out what they were I was more than happy to try them out with P.

These are the to sets that we were set to review.

The children had great fun making with them and with support even little man was able to make his own creation. The whole family got stuck in, Even daddy who originally said he would help little man then decided to make his own flower. P is 7 and I'm pretty sure this is the sort of thing which she could do all by her self, she would just need help with the ironing.

What I like about Hama Beads is that they are a great rainy day craft. They need very little prep and the results are lovely. We plan to make some Christmas presents this year using the melty beads.

The idea of the Hama beads is to place them in a pattern on your chosen peg board. Once filled you use an iron to fuse the beads together and then leave them to cool.

We love these beads and can't wait to explore the rest of the range and come up with our own Hama creation ideas too. After looking around the internet I discovered there was lots of ideas Pinterest too.
