Ginger Bread Play Dough

Try making some ginger bread play dough for your little ones for some festive sensory fun.

ginger bread men always remind me of Christmas. We've made salt dough ones to hang in our tree previous years so I'm guessing this may be why. This recipe is quick and simple, I have adapted the non cook play dough recipe we normally use to adding 1 tea spoon of ginger, 1/2 a tea spoon of nutmeg and brown food colouring (as you can see mine was a little too dark).

Little man started off struggling to roll out the play dough, it's been a while since his play dough but once he got used to the movement he was fine.

Little Man loved using a different material to decorate and create with. He changed the eye's several times before deciding on the perfect pair and even gave the mummy a lovely pair of odd eyes.

He gave the ginger bread people beautiful smiley faces using a play dough tool. He lined up a whole family before mashing them all up.
