The great tree hunt

Each year our house is filled with the smell of Christmas through out December. Since moving into our own home together we have always had a real Christmas tree. The smell of a real tree hits you as soon as you walk through the door and although the branches are never symmetrical they just look so much better.

This year we have decided to make things a little easier on our selves. We are going to buy an artificial tree. The thought was that we don't need to try and bring it home in the car and wreck the leather seats but also we didn't fancy having the tree pulled apart by Tinnie and if it did fall over an artificial tree would be a lot lighter. If we invested in a good quality tree it would last us a long time. I don't think pine needles and one year olds really mix. When we first reached this decision I had images of tacky looking plastic trees going through my head but after looking over trees on the internet I can see that over the years the quality of trees have really improved. We picked a tree from White Store which we were both happy with
So this year I'm looking forward to decorating a beautiful symmetrical tidy tree and putting it away  in January with out a saw and a blocked up hoover.
