Product Review: Fisher Price Racin Ramps Garage

Fisher Price recently re-launched its Little People range and characters to make them more magical and allow for even more learning possibilities for our little ones. We have always been big fan's of the Little people range and the new campaign named Little People … Big Discoveries  will help to build children's knowledge through exploring and observing every day experiences through imaginative play.

As part of this new campaign we were lucky to receive a Racin Ramps Garage to review with the children. We already have two different garages (one plastic and one wooden) but find that they are not very stable for the 1 years old's to play with so I was excited to see how the Little people garage would hold up with 4 little ones.

The garage was easy to put together within a couple of minutes and the children were eager to get playing with the cars and ramp. The garage has a lift takes the cars to both levels and the top level gives access to the ramp back to the bottom. The garage is a great height for the babies as they can pull them selves up and place cares down the ramp from the top. It is also sturdy enough that there are no parts that fall off.

The garage also comes with a break down truck and a car which can be towed and two characters which look like a mechanic and customer. The children have of course been using a range of different cars on the garage and there favourite game at the moment is to block the bottom off and stack the cars up the ramp.

Most children love to pretend to drive cars and the garage adds to this fun but we have also fun it useful to encourage children to play together or parallel and share the toys. The garage has also been used as a way of starting an even larger game with the children building a town from card board boxes.

We have been thrilled with the Racin Ramps Garage and the only down fall is the lift handle is rather stiff but this has started to loosen off. I can tell we will get a lot more use out of this toy!
