I took little mans clothes off and placed a mat on the floor. J was a little unsure at first but soon pushed his hands into the blue gooey mess. A great one try if you have a spare half hour.

Ooh, how long did it take to clear up afterwards??
ReplyDeleteHmmm 15 minutes lol
ReplyDeleteHi there! I have heard about this kind of messy play - have heard of nursery's incorporating similar and I THINK I like the idea if I can get my head around the aftermath (I KNOW little Boo would love the idea!). I can see you were a nursery manager...am really interested to find out what the thought is behind this type of play in terms of child development? Or is it more to do with the simple fun-factor? Love your blog btw - I adore the crafty-bits you're making...really accessible! Lizzyo
ReplyDeleteHi Lizzy thank you for your lovely comments.
ReplyDeleteMalleable play is used to help stimulate childrens senses, as babies this is a great way for them to learn. I will be adding more ideas for you to use at home.
I would suggest that you may need to get a shower curtain or mat to cover your floor and a (new) cat litter tray to hold the materials your little one is going to play with.
Good luck and keep me posted on your success.
