Pasta Necklaces

Today we came up with the idea of making pasta necklaces. Lady P was so excited and quickly tidied away all her toys (it usually takeover about twenty minutes to agree to do this job).
This is one of those activities you need to be well organised for. Cover the table in newspaper or plastic sheeting this can be a very messy project. Cover two plates in cling film to place the pasta on once coated in paint and poured the pasta into a large bowl it make it easier.
P simply covered each piece of pasta in paint, once they were all coated the pasta was left to dry by the window (roughly 3 hours, turning every hour). The pasta was then threaded on to ribbon in a pattern. We made sure there was enough pasta on the necklace so that it could be slipped on and off over her head.
