Review- Big Game Hunters Sandpit

We were lucky enough to be sent a beautiful sand pit at the end of the summer by Big Game Hunters. The sand pit was ordered for us to demonstrate how the ordering system would work and I loved the amount of communication we received to telling us what stage our delivery was at.
When it arrived the children were hugely excited to get it out and fill it with sand straight away. Unfortunately the weather was not great and it rained continuously for three days. The children still made use of the unopened box pretending it was a bus, car and boat. When the weather eventually improved I set up the sand pit while the children the children finished their  lunch. The set up was less then twenty minutes and the instructions were very easy to understand.
The wood was great quality and the holes were already drilled so this made it even easier to assemble. What I hadn't realised before was that the sand pit also came with a ground sheet to keep all the sand from getting damp and cover to keep the sand dry from the top. This also stopped the local cats using the sand pit as a litter tray.
Although the weather has not been great the children have used every possible opportunity to play in the sand tray and I can see that next year it will be involved in many more adventures.
