WOW Toys have been awarded a licence from leading animal and welfare charity, the RSPCA to produce a range of toys for the pre-school market. Called My Pocket Pets, they are a set of collectable RSPCA animal figures suitable for children from 18 months upwards.
Each pack contains one animal figure plus an RSPCA fun activity sheet which includes fun activities such as dot-to-dot, colouring-in an RSPCA cartoon and information aimed at teaching young children about animal welfare. There are 6 animals to collect in this series: Pippi the pooch, Socks the cat, Clarissa the cow, Patch the pig, Wiggles the Dalmatian and Jenny the horse.
We were sent a couple of pets to review and as soon as they arrived in the post I handed them over to Little Man as his weekend treat as his sister spent her money on some Moshi Monsters. Little man instantly asked if he could get the farm out and introduced the animals to the others.
They were each given a home and we used the animal to practiced the noises they make and the food they would eat. Little man loved these little pets. They would make a wonderful pocket money treat. They were a great size and just right for little man to take a long with him. Although they are small they are not too light weight and are not easily knocked over.
RSPCA MY Pocket Pets will be on sale from early February. The line will be stocked in a wide range of high street and online outlets including Waterstones, Tesco, WH Smiths, Tesco Direct and Amazon and participating RSPCA outlets. The toys will also be listed in independent toy shops as well as a number of post offices and newsagents.
We loved them so much we wanted you to have the chance of playing with them too so WOW Toys have offered us the chance to run a giveaway for one of our readers to win 6 packs! Just fill out the form below.
