Looking out the window into the back garden you would think that the house had been abandoned and the garden left to over grow. Our plans for the garden this year do not really seem to be taking off and I really need to get my bum in gear as I won't have time when I return to work. I have pictures in my head of a bright and vibrant garden that's inviting to the children and a great place to entertain friends. So far it is looking like any thing else BUT that. There is a lot of work to do but with the nice weather on and off I can't bring my self to go out there and do gardening.
After a bit of online browsing I came a cross some gorgeous garden accessories from John Lewis which would really bring our garden come to life!
Wooden planters- we could do with a few of these for the herbs which are currently taking over my flower beds.
A bird bath is some thing we are missing from our nature area. The plan is to grow lots of plants and berries which will attract the birds, bees and maybe even a few squirrels.

tea light candle holders for when the kids are in bed
Fairy lights would come in handy when we choose to have friends over for a BBQ and would like to stay our there when the sun has gone down.
The collection at John Lewis really gets me in the summer feeling but first I need to go out there and wrestle the weeds and grass before hubby will let me shop for the garden.
