Product Review: Flying Fairy by Flutterbye

A few weeks a go we were asked if we would like to review a flying fairy by Flutterbye to review. After SpinMaster sending us the description below who could refuse right!?

Every little girl hopes and dreams that magic is real, fairies do exist, and they really can fly. Now they do and she can have her very own!
Flying Fairies by Flutterbye™ are the only magical fairies that really fly! Watch as they gracefully fly through the air, guided only by your hand...

I love any thing involving fairies so I would never had refused and when I let P open the fairy dust covered box she was just as excited!!

Once opened the fairy was beautiful and we instantly put her on charge on her docking station using the batteries Spin Master had also sent in the post. She take 6 AA batteries which I know is a lot but come on shes magic!  The instructions are easy to follow and tell you exactly what lights you need to see flashing when the fairy is correctly on charge. We did try to video the fairy flying in the garden a view times but it does not do her justice. However there is a great video on you tube you can watch.

To start with it took us a while to get used to her. She likes to fly into our ceiling or curtains quite and a lot and shoots up higher when her batteries are low. We took the fairy into the garden a few times to play with her and the children chased after her in the garden which helped them to get some exercise. Now that the children know how to control her she is quite well behaved and the children love to get her out and play. She has crashed many many times since we have had her even in the hands of my three year old and she is still in good condition.

The fairy is easy for children to use. Once charged you turn the fairy on at the back under her shirt and press the button on the front of the docking station. The fairy flies up in the air and and moves around the room. When she starts to drop you simply place your hand underneath her to make her move back up into the air.

The children love how magical our fairy is and it has inspired our play in the setting through out this week in the garden and indoors.

The Flutterbye flying fairy is available to buy on Amazon for £34.99
