Kids AM at Vue Cinemas

A couple of weeks a go P and I were given the opportunity to have a little treat! Well originally it was for the whole family but I thought it would be nice to have a lovely girls day out instead. The Vue Cinema at Piccadilly Circus had arranged for a group of bloggers to enjoy a special screening of 'Barbie: The Pearl Princess'. With a little princess party set up for the children to enjoy before hand.

There was a lovely lady doing temporary tattoos and balloon modelling while another with doing beautiful face paints. The children were treated to cake pops and pop corn for the movie and P was so excited to see the new showing. She has the whole collection and all the dolls to match so far. It's safe to say that a nearly 9 years old she is still a huge Barbie fan!

Barbie returns to the big screen as Lumina, a mermaid with big dreams of becoming a princess and magical power that makes pearls dance and glow! Lumina embarks on an adventure to a majestic mer-kingdom with her best friend Kuda, a pink seahorse, where she uses her powers to help her friends and discovers the key to unlocking her true destiny.

I wish we had a Vue cinema a little closer to home because for £1.75 per person Vue Cinema's show great family films in the mornings on a Saturday or Sunday (even school holiday mornings are included). The current film on offer is the new Moshi Monsters Movie which I know P would love to watch.

Both P and I had a wonderful time. P was feeling like a princess when we left and I loved spending time in a very quiet cinema cuddled up to P. Its not often we get quality girl days like this! The Barbie film it's self was probably our favourite yet!

Disclaimer: We were offered free seats at a showing of Barbie- The Pearl Princess in return for a post about Vue Cinema's new Kids Am showings
