Product Review: Viking Direct Art and Craft Supplies

We go through a lot of art and craft supplies in our house it's one of my favourite types of focused play and a great interest for all the children too. We were recently given the opportunity to review a selection of supplies from Viking Direct, a office and school supply company in the UK. We were excited to get our parcel and get started creating.

Our package included egg chalks, clay, card, coloured sand, glitter, snow flakes, modelling coloured clay and a lot more. they were well packaged and arrived the day after they were ordered. 

We didn't waste any time getting the chalks out, the children had great fun making shapes and roads around the garden while we used them to set up a colour matching game using the chalk which I will feature later on the blog. 

We've also started to get all of our autumn activities under way so the card came in very handy for creating leaf  collages and we will later be using them to make a leaf number line too. 

The coloured sand was a real treat for the children. We have used it in pepper pots while sticking and mark making in toil lined trays. The sand was great for mark making as it was quite heavy and didn't move easily.

I was overall delighted by the quality of the products which Viking Direct sent to me and I'm looking forward to making looks more crafts with the children using their products.
