Product Review- Schleich Braided Horses

We were recently sent a large box of  beautiful horses to review from the Schleich Braided Horse range. . My eldest two could not be happier they love small world toys so the horses made a beautiful addition to their collection. I have noticed this range in ELC and other toys shops before and have always noticed how realistic they look.

Here are some pictures of the horses we received.

When they first arrived P was amazed at the detail of their tails and manes, her favourite was white with pink bows. Shes also pointed out the eyes and hooves which looked very realistic. She immediately brought down her barbies and started playing with the horses, taking them for walks and feeding them pretend hay. She has a toy stables which came with a barbie so this was perfect for them.

When little man got a chance for a look in he set up his green mat for grass and fences to make them a home.  He had great fun lining them up in size order and sorting them by colour. So a great way to encourage mathematical and creative talk as well as problem solving.

Overall I am really impressed with these horses and we will defiantly be exploring this brand again when little mans birthday comes round. The horses are a great size and being quite heavy they still stable during play and I imagine they would be very hard to break too. Although I would avoid giving them to a toddler it they have a tendency to throw things.

Schleich Braided horses stand 9-12.5cm high and have a RRP of Stallion: £5.99; Mare: £5.99; Foal: £3.99

We were given 6 Schleich braided horses to review but the opinions expressed above remain my own.
